Two adults two children hospitalized after Hazel Dell crash

first_imgFour people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after two cars collided in Hazel Dell.Two adults and two children were injured in the crash, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. They were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.Although details of the injuries were not included in the initial news release, it did note that: “Due to the severity of the injuries, the CCSO traffic homicide unit was called out and is currently on scene conducting an investigation.”According to the report, the accident occurred at 3:20 p.m. when a car made a left turn on the 1600 block of Northeast 78th Street. A vehicle on eastbound 78th Street turned left toward the parking lot of the Hazel Dell Goodwill store on the north side of the street. The turning vehicle drove in front of a westbound vehicle, resulting in the collision.The names of the injured people in the cars were not released.Speed and physical impairment are not thought to be factors that caused the collision, according to the report.last_img
