The four consolation winners were Thomas McNulty, Townawilly; Marcus Meehan, Letterbarrow; Martin Gilespie, Driminin; and Larry Walsh, Doonan. Each will receive €25. Come Cook With Us Fundraiser: The Ladies and Bord an nOg are hosting a joint fundraiser on Friday 8th May in the Abbey Hotel, starting at 8:30pm. The fundraiser is a night of comedy and cooking with chef Joe Shannon and comedian Frank Forde hosting the evening, which has proven to be a big hit access Ireland with other clubs. All club members, parents, players, and locals are encouraged to attend the night, with tickets available from any underage coach/manager. Tickets cost €20 for the night, with all monies raised being reinvested in our teams. Topaz Cash for Clubs: the club has signed up for the Topaz Cash for Clubs competition, you get a stamp for every €40 or more you spend on fuel in Topaz. The club needs 300 stamps to be entered in the cash prize draws which total €200,000. They are scheduled to play Aodh Rudah at home next week in their final league game.Senior Men’s Football: the senior and reserve men’s teams lost to Naomh Conaill on Saturday night in Tir Conaill Park. The seniors lost out 4-07 to 1-07 against a very clinical Noamh Conaill team and an inexperienced reserves team lost out 4-12 to 0-06. Both team play away to Dungloe this Sunday, throw ins at 1:30pm and 3pm. All support welcomed for the lads.Camogie: well done to the the U8, U10 and U12 camogie teams that took part in the Carndonagh blitz last Saturday. Thanks goes to Rosemary Myers, Bredge O’Kenney and co for their good work in promoting the game within the club.Ladies Football: Well done to the senior ladies team who got back to winning ways on Sunday against Buncrana in the league.Donegal GAA: Karl Lacey played for Donegal in their four point defeat to Cork on Sunday in Croke Park. Well done to Donegal minors who won again on Saturday 1-06 to 1-03 against Antrim in the Ulster League, they now play Down this Saturday in Ballybofey at 12 noon. Good luck to Dylan Kennedy who is part of the minor squad. Well done to Laurence Doherty who managed the Donegal minor C camogie title against Wicklow on Saturday. Club players Aine Gilespie, Rebecca Faulkner, Sophie Doherty, and Niamh Doherty were all part of the winning squad. Well done girls!Easter Camp: Thanks goes to all the coaches, volunteers, and helpers who helped out at last weeks three day Easter Camp. Photos from the camp can be see on our Facebook page. All parents will text out when their child’s top or t-shirt arrives into All Sports.Coaching Academy: the 2015 coaching academy for 4-7 year olds boys and girls will start back this Saturday (April 18th) from 11am to 12:30pm in Tir Conaill Park and will run every Saturday morning until late June and again in September and October. Registration will take place this Wednesday night (April 15th) from 6pm to 7pm in Tir Conaill. There will be a parents information evening on Thursday night (April 16th) from 7pm to 7:45pm in Tir Conaill, with all parents asked to attend. Registration for the academy costs seven euros for the year and €2 each Saturday. There will also be a weekly mini league for this group in the Summer which will take place on a weekday and consist of all games.Virtual Sod: the virtual sod fundraiser is ongoing in the club with lots of members signing up so far. The cost of the virtual sod is €20 with all people signed up receiving a certificate and their name going on a large wall display in Tir Conaill. All money raised goes towards the ongoing pitch developments in Tir Conaill.Scoil an Linbh Iosa 5km: the parents association from Killymard are holding 5km run/walk this Sunday at 2pm, with registration costing €5 per person or €10 per family.Pieta House Darkness into Light: the upcoming race/walk will take place early on Saturday May 9th from the St John Bosco at 4:15am. All club members are encouraged to support this fantastic event.Well done: congratulations to clubman Jason Carr who won player of the year for Plymouth Raider University Basketball team last weekend.
